National Director of Education Services

Tracy Scott is the Director of Education Services for SE Health. She began her employment with SE Health in June 2006.

Tracy has over 22 years of nursing experience including primary care nursing, rural and remote community health nursing, and Nursing Administration. Her nursing background is varied and diverse. She began her career in Northern Manitoba where she worked as a primary care nurse, community health nurse, and Nurse in Charge in rural and remote First Nations communities. Her nursing leadership background includes six years as a Nursing Services Manager with a First Nations Health Authority. Prior to joining SEHC she was a Nurse Epidemiologist for First Nations and Inuit Health Branch, Manitoba Region.

Tracy is a graduate of the Masters of Nursing Program at the University of Manitoba where she focused her studies on nursing leadership and empowerment. Her thesis was a quantitative research study on structural empowerment and organizational commitment among First Nations and Inuit Health Branch Nurses. Tracy is highly committed to supporting health care providers working in community settings through empowering work environments and innovative use of information technologies.
