About the Project
The Saint Elizabeth First Nations, Inuit and Métis Program, with a financial contribution from the First Nations and Inuit Home and Community Care (FNIHCC) Program, led a project that highlights the importance of partnerships (internal and external), in Home and Community Care Programs. The primary objective of this project was to draw lessons from the experience of communities that have established successful partnerships in the delivery of FNIHCC services and to share those lessons with other communities.
The lessons learned from this project have been drawn from community experiences as well as the literature, in order to develop a Toolkit. The Building and Maintaining Partnerships Toolkit
contains a collection of information and practical tools that will provide communities and organizations with the resources necessary to enter into and sustain partnerships.
