Program Accreditation Announcement: Continuing Education Units for @YourSide Colleague® Courses
We are very pleased to announce that the Saint Elizabeth First Nations, Inuit and Métis (FNIM) Program
is now an accredited member institution of la SOFEDUC
- The Society of Education and Training (la Société de formation et d'éducation continue), a Québec-based accrediting organization.
The FNIM Program can now grant continuing education units (CEUs)
for our courses on @YourSide Colleague®.
Continuing education units are recognized not only in Québec, but also throughout Canada, as a standardized recognition of quality standards in training and education.
in order to be eligible for CEUs for courses on @YourSide Colleague®, you must complete or revisit any @YourSide Colleague® courses you have previously accessed, including the final knowledge test. A minimum grade of 70%* is required on most final knowledge tests to be eligible for CEUs. Once the requirements for CEUs are met for a course, you will receive a certificate with CEU(s) via email.
*Some courses require a higher passing grade.
