Educational Liaison
Bodiene Dussion is a First Nations nurse originally from Cumberland House Saskatchewan. She is from the Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug First Nation Band in Northwestern Ontario. She and her husband have three daughters and currently reside in the Battlefords on Treaty 6 Territory.
In 2008, Bodiene earned her Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from the University of Manitoba. 2017, she obtained the Canadian Nurses Association Certificate in Community Health Nursing. 2018, she was a recipient of the National Award of Excellence in Nursing from Indigenous Services Canada. In 2019, she completed the Additional Authorized Practice Course through Saskatchewan Polytechnic to obtain her AAP License.
Bodiene has worked primarily in Community Health Nursing in Manitoba and Saskatchewan First Nation communities. She is excited to showcase her knowledge and experience to help build capacity for our First Nations, Inuit, and Metis People.
