Sacha Robillard

Education Coordinator

Sacha acknowledges that she lives and works on ancestral lands. Treaty 1 territory, the Traditional gathering place of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene people and the Traditional homeland of the Métis people. Our water is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation. Every time we acknowledge this truth, we have an invitation and an opportunity to reflect on what we do and what we can do to make Manitoba and Canada a better place for everyone who lives here.

Born in a renovated train caboose in rural Manitoba and raised in Inner City Winnipeg. Sacha is caring and passionate about helping people, education and logistics.

With 15 years social services experience, Sacha started her career at just 18 years old. Two years later she moved to Yellowknife to develop a mental health day program with the YWCA and fell in love with the North.

Although her plans were to stay for one year, she found herself immersed in a wonderful, supportive community. She developed her skills, taking on a variety of roles in case management and special needs education. She also gained experience serving remote Northerners and their communities as a flight attendant and sales and catering manager for a large hotel.

Sacha is excited to be a part of the FNIM Program and the SE Health family. She is proud to be a part of the incredible work that we do!
