Engagement Liaison
Suzanne Stephenson is an Engagement Liaison in the SE Health First Nations, Inuit and Métis Program.
Suzanne gratefully acknowledges that she lives and works in the traditional and unceded territory of the Abenaki people and the Wabanaki Confederacy.
In her role Suzanne works in collaboration with Indigenous communities and organizations on projects and on knowledge sharing and exchange initiatives, with the belief that the answers to understanding and solving complex health care issues, improving access and addressing barriers to care are found within communities.
Suzanne graduated from Laurentian University with an Honours Bachelor of Indigenous Studies, where she did her fourth-year research on the social, cultural and health effects of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement. She also has a Certificate in Project Management from Toronto Metropolitan University and the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
