In collaboration, SE Health Career College and the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis (FNIM) Program proudly offer a 34-week Blended Delivery Personal Support Worker (PSW) / Health Care Aide (HCA) Certificate Training Program.
This program combines:
Two 2-week in-person sessions
A 2-week instructor-led daily virtual learning session
Self-directed e-learning modules
Weekly instructor-led virtual gatherings to reinforce learning
A 3-week practicum in a long-term care (LTC) setting (locations TBD)
Community practicum hours completed in the student’s home community
After completing the first in-person session, students will gain the confidence and skills needed to navigate virtual technologies, including Zoom, for their weekly sessions.
This blended approach ensures flexibility while equipping students with hands-on experience and knowledge to excel as PSW/HCAs.
