Our Team

Corey has many years of experience in national and regional nursing leadership positions in the Continuing Care sector and works closely with many Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities and organizations. He is a graduate of the Dalhousie University Master of Nursing Health Policy and Administration Program and has education and experience in program evaluation and project management. He’s a recipient of two Government of Canada Assistant Deputy Minister Leadership Awards and was recently honoured by the Atlantic Policy Congress of First Nations Chiefs as a recipient of their Supporting Our People Award in health for his work related to the Wholistic Continuum of Care (LTC) initiative. In addition to his director role at SE Health, Corey has a background in quality improvement and is a surveyor with Accreditation Canada.
